Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA)

The RNA (Restorative Nursing Assistant) program at St. Jude Nursing School provides CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistants) the knowledge and skills to advance their career in long-term care. Students will learn how to assist patients to reach their maximum mobility potential, range of motion, ambulation, transferring techniques, activities of daily living (ADL) restorative feeding programs, and documentation.

St. Jude Nursing School is the quickest, simplest and most convenient way for you to complete your ongoing Continuing Education Requirements!

St. Jude Nursing School has been approved as a provider for Continuing Education Units for CNA & CHHA in the State of California. Certified CNAs are required to accumulate 48 hours of in-service training/continuing education during each certification period. In addition, CHHAs are required to accumulate 12 hours of in-service/ continuing education training each year of their certification period for a total of 24 hours.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs), for most people who work in the nursing field, are essential, not only to renew licensure or certification, but to keep up with the ever changing world of nursing. These classes will enrich your knowledge and it will help you perform your work as a nursing assistant more efficiently.
